Friends come in many sizes
No two are ever the same.
The best are those who share,
The worst are those who only take.

As sure as the sun rises,
There will be those who play games.
Please though, try to be fair,
Not for them, but for your own sake.

Do not assume you know their heart,
People are never only, how they seem.
Some may be quiet, others loud,
Still others may be short or tall.

Nothing, not even friendship is sure at the start,
Like an engine, friendship needs to build up steam.
So take your head down from the clouds,
It may be friendship, more, or nothing at all.

So take a chance, go the mile.
You never know until you try,
Remember thus to always smile.
There’s just no limit to the high, when you feel you can touch the sky.

very good write, and good point, you know what a friend is and isnt
