Fantasy of reality this sidelong aversive glare
dangling our hopes on a string careless obstructive tear
Wondering past fantasy reaching past normal views
looking at us threw broken patterns and stale old news
whistling a pointless tune sidestepping all the while
seeing this point of return in a wayward mile
blind and small i make the fall in hopes of finding faith
in regret i made a wrong step and fell into this waste
feeling weak fantasy takes me back to a gentler time
feeling i have escaped something guilty of this time

That is one of the best poems i have read. It also reminds me of something I had to go through. |
