Struggle.

Darkness.
Light.
Tears in your eyes.
Tears in mine.
Pretend they’re glistening
In the light that they shine.
Darkness.
Pain.
Loss.
Gain.
Trembling bodies.
Shaking soul.
Terrified feelings.
Taking their toll.

This comment actually counts as two...as I'm reading this w/ a friend who has informed me from over my shoulder that she likes it too. I liked the way it flowed as well as the balance that exists in your listings.
