I'LL BE THERE!
Showers of moisture fall,
Through the branches and the leaves.
Trailing droplets, in rivlets drain.
Cascading down upon the lawn.
I'LL BE THERE!
Stormy clouds and darkened skies,
Soon we hear the thunder's toll.
Catch our breath, and with a gasp;
Smile and share a laugh, a look.
I'LL BE THERE!
The rains wash away the pall,
Cleansing, cleaning what we grieve.
Nothing is so simple or so plain,
As waiting for the pain to be gone.
I'LL BE THERE!
Gentle rain falls like the tears of our eyes,
Bidding one to come and take a stroll.
Walking side by side our hands clasped,
Recalling what from each of us was took.
I'LL BE THERE!
Life is fleeting like the rain,
It makes no sense to hold the pain.
Take a step, or two, or four.
Unlock your heart and open the door.
and I WILL BE THERE!!
