Will she say yes or will she say no
My world seems to hang on what she may say
Waiting for a word that may never come
An instant seems like eternity
If she says no will the world end
Will I cease to be or continue on in misery
I hope and listen for the yes to come forth
From her lips so bold and beautiful
Transfixed in time I cant help but think
Think of close friends, closer than most
Will she become one of those I cherish the most
I wont know until I hear
The fateful word fall to my ear
