Fear
Biting, scratching
Begging
He doesn’t seem to hear
Screaming!
Running
Not fast enough
Crying
Begging
Laughter
Laughter?
“It’s just a game”
It is no game
Someone help me!
No one can hear
Hair pulling
Pants pulled off
Please
Don’t
Baby is downstairs alone
Scream louder
He is shocked
Here is my chance!
Kick hard where it counts
He goes flying
Off the bed…head hits the dresser
I run away he tries to grab me again
Not this time
Run down the stairs
Half naked
Don’t care
Grab the phone and the baby
Watch him walk out
Hold our child and weep
NO means NO
Even if you are married

Oh honey . . .
I'm so sorry. That - god. That is impossibly horrible. I don't have words. I'm so very sorry.
I miss you. |

Wow painfully effective. There is a terror expressed at being violated that barely registers on the conscience of the typical male unless of course its 'Bubba" or some other attacking in the prison shower then he fights being a punk but looses the essential understanding of what it is to simply be decent and show respect.
At the very least I hope there was healing with the pen.
Apologies for the male gender as this is perhaps part of a larger issue. Hopefully we are still evolving. This piece of prose should be issued with every wedding ceremony and or box of condoms. I truly want you to call law enforcement, find a women prosecutor and teach this lesson. Some have to learn the hard way. Certainly if it persists as that missing piece of the 'X" that becomes 'Y' makes some deficient in decency hardheaded and hard hearted. |

This is terrible, what a horrid thing to have to deal with. Yes your right no is no. I hope that you and the baby are safe and away from this sort of behavior. I am so very sorry.
The tempest of your feeling had me right there a scene so vivid.
huge hugs

Terror, yes terror is a good word here. You have expressed it in emotion that leaps off the page!
and yes...even marrige does not give someone the right to violate!! |

Hugs you tight Lil Angel ...you and that precious baby. I went through this with my first husband, he was drunk....didn't matter we were married, it was rape. Good for you girl, I'm glad you made it out. I wish you well, sis.
Peace, Laura |
