The modern minstrel is a man~
whose oral tradition survives his time
So as tomorrow might his day understand~
with poetic hands he cradles life in rhyme
In his fashion, todays troubadour~
is the rhythm in which history's kept
As it is his song that will become lore~
once his day into yester is swept
Beyond living memory his raps realized~
in vivid colors never to fade
And, thus is his essence immortalized~
to continue receipt of due accolade
Though he be not known to me in face~
I know his lack to be our storys peril
For ours is an age in need of such grace~
as gifts he who is artist, he who is Darrel

Ah we should all be so celebrated...but alas so many go unsung or commentless...
You give rise to the opposite here:
"...Beyond living memory his raps realized~
in vivid colors never to fade
And, thus is his essence immortalized~
to continue receipt of due accolade..."
I like how you take your feelings and bring them into life as verse.
You have beautiful music coming from your minstrel soul may you ever receive immortal accolades yourself.
Peace
