My Friend I Saw the other day
How I missed her in every way
I Missed her for years on end
This the person I called friend
Alas no joy when at last we met
Our time now gone clearly set
I left for Paris that fine day
To build my fortune, carve my way
Now in a coffin looking smart
I heard she died of a broken heart
The day we parted I remember why
Now here I sit as I cry.

I lost a friend and realized when he passed he was the one.
