Sitting here
Tears pouring from my eyes,
Time flies by not worring about
Who they left behind.
How stupid of me to believe
Someone would care.
How foolish of me to get so attached,
I promised myself I wouldn't let it
Hurt so much but it did
And I'm not sorry
I need this feeling, this pain, to realise
I'm still alive.

A very sad write indeed. But, it is true, sometimes we need to feel pain to make sure we are still alive. Another great work Mandi, I truly enjoy reading your work.
