Maggie took a needle and stuck it in her arm.
Maggie lost reality, she lost all her charm.
Raised in the inner city, where hope is a lost dream.
Maggie found a way out,at least that's how it seemed.
Living on the streets when she was just thirteen.
Maggie soon lost all the will, and ability to dream.
Rejected by society unwanted and all alone.
Maggie never knew the pleasure of having a real home.
By fifteen Maggies body was how she made her way.
The only love that she knew was the type for which men paid.
Maggie grew up quick and she grew up real hard.
For every time a hand was dealt, she picked up the wrong cards.
Maggie lived out her life the only way that she knew how.
By seventeen she lived in the past, for she couldn't live with now.
One cold rainy night with a needle in her arm she sadly passed away.
In a dark lonely alley she finally found out,she needn't be a stray.
