My heart moves its way

Contributed by girish on Friday, 3rd November 2006 @ 09:48:40 AM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

Atop the mountain`s peak it has its source
And down the mountain-side it gently flows
In its stride, it takes both highs and lows
And here it makes me stand on my toes

It moves through the air like a gentle breeze
And all the time it does make me freeze
Also my mind, it does tease
And my heart, it really does appease

It`s as sweet as the shade of a giant tree
It is the pinnacle of beauty, I do agree
It sets my heart so free
That I go around this world in a spree

It is as smooth and soothing as a glacier
Of joy, no doubt it`s the frontier
When I am involved, there is no barrier
In a way it is my heart-carrier

And now as it comes to a close
To its author, my heart longingly goes
Such divine music who, else could compose
Lord Krishna, with his flute of course!
