Two people standing in the shadow of a lie
Skin touching, but worlds apart
Feelings indescribable
The false premise of one
Hiding behind whats yet undefined
My only child, Did I know you
Before the warmth of the womb
But I am only still
Lonely still
This life is leaving me so unfulfilled
I was never with you
How can I be alone
Youre something I never had
While we stand together, worlds apart
A shooting star
I could never hoped to catch
If I could just breathe you in
Fill up all the missing me with little bits of you
Eyes open now, hold on with both hands
Your taking me for granted
Complicating me
Taking me for nothing
You cant miss me if I stay
Would you notice if I disappear?
Nothing, and youll have nothing too....
Till you are only still...

great write powereful one of the better and more sincere poems ive read in a long time.
