The day you left
I felt like I wasn't good enough
You made me feel okay and maybe even normal.
But I guess you had to go
It was meant to be
Though I won't ever be the same
and since you have left,
I must say
That I am a lot quieter
Than I would normally be.
I don't see
How you can be happy
But I guess
That's the effect it has on people
Going somewhere
To be with the ones that love them
Everyone but me.
And so my dear, I must bid you ado,
and go back to the life
Left behind by you.
