A shadow from the past, still you follow me,
nothing is the same, it can never be,
your stopping me from moving on,
somethings helped me to get strong,
go back in the past, where your mean't to be,
we shared a past together, yes I know,
its over now you hurt me let me go,
cant you see now I'm free,
happiness eluded me,
go back in the past, where your mean't to be,
I told you, you must leave,
I can hardly breath,
its now!!! it has to end,
cant even be your friend,
go back in the past where your mean't to be..
now after many years,
its time to dry my tears,
I'll spread my wings and fly,
be happy till I die,
go back in the past, where your mean't to be..

I agree, this write is full of sentiment and comes from the core. Its hard to let go of those you love or have loved, no matter what happened. I wish you a fare journey to a beautilful future.
