I told him not to sleep around but he didn't listen to me.
After sleeping with lots of women, he's got HIV.
I told him to use condoms but he said they weren't for him.
Now that he has a death sentence, he wishes he had wore them.
He's going to die and I can't imagine life without my best friend.
I'm going to stand by him and give him support until the very end.

Wow...very blunt...i feel for your friend. Hopfully they will find a cure in time. I know you probally didnt mean to but you ma"de me think of the song by...ohhh...umm cant remeber the name...but "Three letters took him to his final resting place" Hopefully someone will read this poem and relize that you have to practise Safer sex.
Again really good write! I will keep your friend in my prayers. |
