Roulette (Fates Games)

(Roulette "Fates Games")

playing roulette all alone
feeling the welts of the stones
you martyred in my life
having a revalation of the mind
i have opened my eyes and realized
life is nothing but a dream
giving you a way to scream
closing yourself off from everyone
granting you time to yourself
time to see you are alone
that no one is there
no one has been
not even from the beginning
this is the end
darkness shrouds you
playing roulette all alone
feeling the welts of the stones
you martyred in my life
i can't feel safe as i shut the shades
left a message but it is to no use
time for the dreams to end
as the moon turns red
and the guillotine swings over head
something begins to crawl in my skin
burrowing deeper with each heavy breath
the phone begins to ring
as my friends walk in and begin to scream
a voice comes over the machine
the sound of a woman, the sound of tears
and all the words i had yearned to hear
as i grab the phone i begin to say
isn't it funny how fate plays lifes little games?
five seconds earlier i lost my game
I Love You
are the last words i was allowed to say
