My Ode To Love [[A Fairy Tale]]

Contributed by FaithfulFaiiryWriter on Wednesday, 1st November 2006 @ 05:38:27 PM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

I'd be in love...

If he risked his life for my attention.

I'd be in love...

If he took me out and made me feel like I'd
never felt before.

I'd be in love...

If he & I spent every waking minute together.

I'd be in love...

If I told him my dream house and he built it.

I'd be in love...

If we fought all the time and yet he'd smile and we'd
pretend like it never happend.

Its all a fairy tale you see....but....

I'd be in love...

If only a summer fling, and I went away.

I'd be in love...

If he wrote me 365 letters; One for each day I was away.

I'd be in love...

If 7 years later I screamed at him
in frustration at bay.

I'd be in love...

If with me yelling at him he told me it wasnt ever
over and kissed me in the pouring rain.

But its jis my fairy tale you see...

I'd be in love...

If he told me it'd be worth it to listen to me
say he was an idiot everyday.

I'd be in love...

If I were old, and lost my memory.

I'd be in love...

If he sat and told me of how we met, everyday.

I'd be in love...

If we died together cause its what out love ment
to me.

Yet its jis a fairy tale you see.
Nothing of the such can happen to me.

But if your the one that can make me smile
again and like I've never before.

Please raise your voice in triumph and glee,
screaming Im He!

But its jis a fairy tale dont you see.
Im not what that he wants, nore needs.

So I'll go on smiling everytime I remeber
my over rated dreams for its all I have.

& All I need.

I'm struck by the thought of how many people truly believe in the fairy tale vs working to keep a great relationship. Your thought provoking piece leaves me asking..."Is there an in between?"
Nice job on this!
