Catholics march for civil rights,
Catholics run from fire fights,
Shot them dead in Old Derry,
Not separate were forest and trees.
Fourteen lives is not a barter,
Fourteen more young Irish martyrs,
Parents, children, faces, names,
They bled to death alone the same.
River of blood in Derry's streets,
Soldiers laugh at their heroic feats,
Innocents dead from shooting spree,
They dared to march against tyranny.
I guess in death, they will be free,
That's how England runs democracy,
For this was just Cruel Britain's way,
In Derry's streets, on Bloody Sunday.

You know...you shouldn't condemn a people because of certain crimes their country have commited... The civilians don't make the decisions, but they pay the price... It should never be that way.
Please consider that.
I understand your write, and I agree that a lot of stuff happened back then that was wrong, and bad, and disgusting, but do not blame the English people for it, and please, please, please do not let yourself fall into hate, as you seem to be.
For your own sake, if not for others.
I have noticed that your poems are very anti - English... but one thing you don't seem to realise is that many English people do not like the way this country was, and is run. Think about that before you blame the wrong people.
Forgive me if I read this poem completely wrong.

Well I didn't see this as blame or hate.
We all have the right to our opinions.
The way I read it is it's just a testiment to how things get out of hand but then all country's are guilty of the same in one way or the other.
Good writing.
huggs,
