Feeling on top of the world
But teetering on the edge
One false step
It can all come tumbling down

Another up and down
Spins me round

Hair so beautifully curled
Looking pretty up on the ledge
An edge to overstep
I will play the clown

Another up and down
Spins me round

I will be bright and cheery
Sweetness and light
Tears I shed
Meaning nothing to me

Another up and down
Spins me round

This world is making me weary
Feeling like a building site
Busy in my head
Suddenly I see

It’s just another up and down
Spinning my head around
