This is not a suicide
This is merely a flesh wound
Bloodletting your demons
And here lies a life in ruin
The world turned it's back
Only because you wouldn't stand up for yourself
This pain escapes through the slits in your wrists
But don't call this a suicide attempt
You say you don't want to live any more
But you're scared to end it all now
That's not suicide, those are only scratches on the surface
It doesn't matter if you do feel worthless
This was not a suicide
These are only flesh wounds

I like this....it's somewhat sad, but you can easily feel the poem, it's really good. :) |
