The age of innocence has passed and gone,
Doesn't mean this isn't a love song.
My feelings for you you are just growing so strong,
Although I've loved you so much all along.
So much to explore within you,
Adventures of minds and a real pretty view,
I revel in wonder at things that you do,
I'm sensing fresh senses, my mind flies anew.
As Autumn turns darker and rusty leaves fall,
I pledge to the heavens I'll give you my all,
Cos right by your side I'm standing so tall,
Just holding you close now, just knowing you'll call.
I'm trusting your judgement, I know that you're free,
You're everything I think a woman should be.
A friend and a lover, not smothering me,
Just giving me hope in the good that I see. x
