If you walk with demons yet dream of angels
can peace be found in faith, in trust, or belief?
The conviction that tells you of things you must do
as having courage, patience,-and in giving relief.
Can the demons be bested with courage invested
in a dogma with communion just posed?
In unproven rewards for going towards a light
illumined with eyes that are closed?
Of a realm filled with glory and contriving 'his'story
and in figures that man has imbued,
with outrageous claims and others defamed with -
'a 'truth' that no one has viewed.
How then does faith and conviction lead to salvation
when the angels were demoniacally pursued ?

The courage of your rhyme is inspiring. I can easily hear a beat to portions of it that reminds me of the heart. Here is the sun, moon and earth beneath us flayed into images and elements that are archetypal and supernal. Perhaps from what you know about living comes this question?:
"If you walk with demons yet dream of angels
can peace be found in faith, in trust, or belief?"
and perhaps the re-reader may answer with more questions starting an avalanche of considerations leading to change.
Personally I forego belief, which marries faith with imagination. Trust becomes a real-time tool. Salvation and damnation become yet another (in what is a series of) controls imposed by reflex. Offered in my humble opinion as your work inspires dialogue.
Thank You for your effort here.
Peace
