I came to take her today, completely ..... body and mind, heart and soul, the torn child of my youth, the one that brought me to be to who I am today, I have found her heart to be that of a chain, where she keeps adding more links, she's lovely, elegant, and sheer, her long brunette hair still flows in the warm breeze, and her earth toned eyes, hold much of what she has seen, her trails of past yesteryear are well behind her, she travels today, within my reflection, she looks at past time as only a shadow, a dusted path on this crusted continent, of hate and love, she plants wildflowers in her backyard, as a tiny small toad, sits near and watches, a soft tune is played in the foreground, by one of her most precious gifts, who sits on the bench they made together, his harmonica, carries a song of love to her ears, she watches the mother bird build a nest out of twigs, as her older son plants a willow in the yard, she dances, because of others, her anguished sorrows of yesterday, are thrown to the wind, I know her well, she's not alone anymore, as light of new day breaks through, I see her there, and love her much, has her reflection aged, may have, but I know who she is, she cares for the beaten, the lonely, the heartbroken, the small, the lost, and the dying, she's held children, born addicted, some have died in her arms, she's helped thee addicted, so they would recover, she's taught an autistic child, to smell, touch, feel, see,and hear, many take for granted, she places flowers on graves of forgotten souls, who's past is unknown to her, she's buried the young, the old, an the lonely, she rescues God's small creatures, that cannot speak, she knows the power of love, the sorrow of being alone, the pain that kills, she takes in all, and holds all as dear granted gifts, she lives today, within the sonnet, my spirit attended to her, her words are oils set into prose, her time is priceless, she is the world within my world, tender, loving, delicate, and graceful, she's an image of my very youth, she survived, she takes life it as it comes, burying the sorrows deep within her soul, so they can rest, she refreshes her mind with new choices, and new challenges, she belongs to me, she is the daughter of the living meadow, drowning in the very pleasures of life, under the sapphire sky, with new hopes, and courage, her wants and needs, are not of crushed velvet, or sparkling rubies, but that her journey will be a ray of light, to shine on others, and touch a least one soul, before her eyes close, into darkness and she dies, she is my internal and external emotions, in the infinity cloud of life, I know she's beautiful!
