Memories flood my mind
Remembering my stupid mistakes
And how I took advantage of your love
Bending you the furthest you could go
I still remember that dreadful day
When we decided to be apart
Leaving each other to live our own lives
Now I don't believe how I could've of wanted to leave
Now I regret every little word
That drove us slowly to our breakup
I remember how great I felt
Just to feel you in my presence
I remember inhaling the scent of your cologne
As we hugged intimately
The touch of your tender lips as we kissed
And how it made my stomach feel as if it had butterflies
Oh and the song you'd play to me
And how it made my heart flutter as you sang
Now it replays in my head repeatedly
Making me regret even more that I left
Oh how I miss your heavenly soul
And the way you loved me
How could've I left something so good
Guess you don't know how good you have it
Till it's gone

very true, we never really know or appreciate what we have, until its gone. i can relate to what you're going through. just know, you have people you can talk to. its hard, but life can and does go on.
