The Condition of Contradiction

One yesterday ago, a man told me it was cold.
All I could say is, “You have no clue.”
You could be a nobody,
And the whole world could hate you.
Take one look, a passerby,
He glares as you pass, you wonder why.
No one cares about morality,
Rated from one to ten on sensuality,
Sticker from the label maker
Can only but offend your bold mentality.
Some worth a dollar, maybe two,
Have lost the light and sell their souls through.
On the same system, your voice is quieted.
Of unique opinion, others are frightened.
If they don’t judge by the cover,
They but turn a page or two,
Barely seeing one word,
They then eternally condemn you.
Create Jeopardy categories,
Under which do you fall?
Fall in line with the ousted category,
You, a shaded gray, fit all too well
Into the revolutionary allegory.
