An Ode to What Once Was

What once was vibrantly
Thick and Lush
Has become a barren desert
With only the merest vestige
Of golden strand remaining

A veritable forest
Reduced
To a sunscorched plain
With only the occasional oasis
Left to speak of it's former glory

And that is why I shave my head.

Lol! Your almost as funny as me. Boy you sucked me in just to spit me out so I could laugh w/ you. I'm all thinkin','Clear cutting sucks dude' & then I got it. Teehee or she! Is it history or her story too?
