Topic: oops

Desperately waiting
I sit anticipating
Walking around in circles
Obsessively pacing
Rationalizing the unintelligible
Contemplating the inevitable

Focusing on a singular point of reference
Showing respect
With an occasional act of kindness
Applaudable silence
Disrupts an otherwise peaceful decorum
An open forum
To voice objections
Oppose directions
Solve complicated matters of justice
Signs of hypertension
Declines in rapid dimensions
In consistent succession
There are sick bastards all around us
I need you for my own protection

Hopefully praying
I trust in something I have not seen
Or seen too much of in everything
An everlasting being
An elastic band of life and living
Existing without insisting
An imposition is creeping
With reason floating upstream
Fortunes without sacrifice
The time to come clean
Has arrived

Survived are all the legends
A rich mans tale fed to the peasants
Peanuts for adolescents
The pigeons engulf the statute in the square
with a vengeance

A horsemen and his lady
Maybe, a swordsmen with pride
Crafty collides
His blade turned inwards-
Towards the insides
A hand on his thigh
She kneels down to cry
A tear rolls down
Her concrete eye
The complete lie
Wrapped in green paint
Never to set
Or dry

It’s a beautiful sunset
A perfect sky
Confess
Tell your secrets
Force your thoughts
On paper leaflets
Or prepare to die
