Someone's knockin' at the door
and I am
so thrilled...
could it be the girl
that I am yearning for,
it would be so cool
to be with her alone
she is the one that I adore.
looking out the window
got a secret
no one knows...
I fantasize about that girl
I pause
and I sigh
as I try not to lose control.
I dream of a gentle breeze
that flows
as we're walking and talking
under a full moon
in a garden of eden
where only lovers go.
Sweet emotions are
whispering...
as cotton candy clouds
drift across the sky,
I saw her sweet lips trembling
after we kissed
and I held her tight.
The radio plays a song
the television is on
anticipation is strong
as I feel emotions ebb and flow...
I wait
for something
a wonderful feeling
that's been slowly building to a crescendo,
Gotta go
Someone's knocking at the door
could it be the one I adore.

This is a very nice write, dreams are wonderful thing. At least you know have a very good ideal of what type of young lady you are looking. I hope that one day your dream will come true, Youngman. May you find peace and joy you seek in your heart.
