selfstruggles
|
In my walls of silence,
Under my blanket of solitude,
Words for me spell betrayal.
My tone of voice speaking,
Telling of how much I’ve failed.
Far beyond tears,
Torturous thoughts are beyond description,
This tale of mine is all too encrypted.
Forget the light and darkness,
Forget the windows and doors,
There are no sufficient words
To express how the state of a soul can be so poor.
Speak, they command of me,
For they wish to trap me into rage,
Curses and professions of hate.
But there has dawned a new age,
When words aren’t enough
For my message to be conveyed.

I agree. Sometimes I figure why even try to explain.
From a distance words can/'/t always explain.
If I gave you a hug, no words could have the same feeling- now could they?? |
