Move On

Contributed by lostinmyself on Tuesday, 24th October 2006 @ 08:02:57 PM in AEST
Topic: SadPoetry

I cannot remember,
all the times we spent together,
and all the kisses in the dark,
will not hurt inside forever,
and the only thing that I can do

Is move on

and all the playful empty moments,
are not the only thing I see,
in memories and in my dreams,
and when I close my eyes to sleep,
and all that I can do now

Is move on

I wish to dream of you no more,
of every feeling felt before,
and these moments will not haunt me still,
they'll not hold me anymore,
'cause I'm doing all that I can do,

To move on.

and I somehow know in every prayer,
I'll no longer even wish you there,
and every single part replayed,
will help me see that I don't care,
'cause now all that I can do,
Is what I have to do.

Move on.

Wow...very descriptive. I like it!
Moving on is such a hard thing to
do. Believe me. I know the feeling.

Phyllis, This write is quite moving.
Moving on can be so rough, but then again, it leaves spaces for other things to move on in. I wish you the best.
Peace and hugs,
Laura

Dearest sweet PhillyGirl~
One of the most hardest things in life to do is to move on. Certain things will remind us of past memories. In life we need to move on and to leave the past where it belongs~ in the past. When we move on we create and give room for other things in our lives. Sometimes it's so much easier said than done.
A moving, deep and heartflet write. Wishing you much brighter days ahead and new happy memories~
love, hugs n prayers,
Sue M

ahhhh were you writing this knowing what I have traveled? :) Of course not! But it does so hit home for more than just me I am sure.
...one step at a time.....

Strength and healing in these words.
The minds effort to reconcile produces a stark truth:

"... every single part replayed,
will help me see that I don't care,
'cause now all that I can do,
Is what I have to do..."

Bravely Done

Peace
AJ
