The good book hid the hammer
that breaks the rock
to rubble the tunnel route.
Wave the tome when quoting,
demonstrate complete mastery,
maybe only once or twice.
Facade intact, continue to chip
and haul away debris in secret.
Innocence redeemed
in a dream upon
awakening remembered
the way is cleared
to stand on bended knees
clasp hands and beg
the sky to yield.
We are just cold, pushy,
sentient, star-foam;
searching for a wormhole
and otherside,
with a brash aplomb?

You are a master at word play. I liked this piece, it felt a little spicy in it's ponderings. I am really digging your stuff.
Peace, Laura |

There's a certain spunk to this piece that almost challenges a response out of the reader... I like the sass! Even in shorter writes you drive the point home. Nicely done!
