Blessed be...

Contributed by Davinah on Tuesday, 24th October 2006 @ 07:33:40 AM in AEST
Topic: oops

You can pull that lever
And see what blessings will rain down on you.
Go ahead and take your chance
It might never come again

Covered with burns and Satan’s spit
It can’t get any worse than this
For better or for worse
Or just as good as it gets

You can push that button
And see what is being ignited into life
The past, the present and the future
And all the fires of hell

Crushed in the ground, crash and burn
Hysterical, paranoid, nowhere to turn
Take your chance, take a risk
Drink from the cup of life
Blessed be…

This work has the tone of the nystic rather than the relgious fervent and comes across with a poets stigmata meaning there is a magic in the way you write and how we believe. Yes I too feel there are answers to be found when one does "...drink from the cup of life..."

We share writing about similar themes. I look forward to your comments.

To the 7th gen.

Peace

Very deep indeed.
The comment above me is spot on.
