Rough chop echoed with
bile, nausea ripples and
separates sublingual
breath from heave.
He stood up irritated with the storm.
Raised arms wide spoke only one
word "shathaq." Be calm.
The seas broke and settled
crush, wove, the wind fell
as a dead weight, peppered
all aboard with rime.
He sat quietly, as all who fretted,
breathe and sighed in awe.
The rock in my gut
warmed in anguish, yelled rebukes.
Who are you?
How did you do that?
The sea answers no man!
'I am you' He said, 'I quell myself,
the rest followed.'
'Ah,' I longingly replied, 'Buddha Bless.'
