I can't believe no one's commented yet.
This poem is spiritual, thought-provoking, and blunt. It's an obviously upsetting and sad poem, but that's what it needs to do, to shock people.
Sometimes the poetic lines clash with the more "gruesome" parts, but I guess that's the point you're trying to get across, that it's a terrible thing. Not beautiful.
This is definitely something that needs to be read.
Good for you. ^^ |

WTF You know just what the fetus is thinking, huh? Maybe it's saying "thank god you didn't bring me into this friggen nasty place you call your life." "Thank goodness you ended my life like this instead of dumping my ass in a trash can after I'm born". I am blown away at how some focus on this sort of death, but then condone war or the death penalty. (I am not saying you in particular do). I am glad I am in control of my body and you and politicians aren't. You should focus on children already in this world, who are beaten, tortured and mistreated every friggen day of their sorry little lives. They're the ones folks should be worrying about......the ones that are already here. I wish you peace...and hope you never are in a position where you have to make such a decision.
