I hear that song play
and somehow
all is shut out
transformed into
a moment
transcended in time
a brief moment
but so treasured
Wisconsin Lake Air
I can smell it now
as if I were right there
whilst she lapped my feet
Darkened night
All asleep
but me
Digging the sounds
of the Mequon night
and this song
Oct 2004

Beautiful write...
I can relate to this - I'm going through a phase of 80's music... It's taking me back to the crazy 80's and all the good times, smells and bright colours... It's amazing how music really does carry you away huh?
The imagry this piece brings up is very nice and for such a short piece, it's very effective!
Good write!
