Letter Never Sent

Contributed by deadheadpoet on Monday, 23rd October 2006 @ 12:22:08 AM in AEST
Topic: anguished

I'm not sure if
I can be around you
anymore.
I called you friend
and brother,
but now I'm beginning to see
a different side of you.
You returned to one
of your biggest mistakes.

(that whore)

What kind of man
are you that you
would return to someone
with a mouth of lies
that we all despise?
What on earth
has blinded your eyes?
She is mentally ill
and needs some assistance.
She needs to be on some kind
of treatment.

(You need your distance)

Multiple Personality Disorder
is a disease.

(it can be treated)

I realize this is what
causes the betrayals
the made up stories
the constant need for
attention.
Why can't you see it, man?
You're losing your family
and friends....for what?
Lies
Infidelity
Thievery
We think differently of you, now.
What kind of person
are you really?

{You never even apologized
for what she did to my neice and
myself}

Your only words

"I'll take care of it"

How are the two of you?

It is extremely intriguing...Id be interested to know the rest of this story. I'm more interested in the protagonist as opposed to the person with the multiple personality disorder..I wonder why he went back to her?

Powerful piece. A lot of strong statements and I like the contradictory tone of the last line.
Well written!

I can tell through your words how much this ex friend pained your heart~ One good thing about friends is that you can pick and choose them. Keep the good ones and get rid of the others. I betcha it felt so much better now that you have finally got that off ur chest and out in the open. It helps our heart heal from wounds that were inflicted upon us when we write about them.
A powerful and thought provoking write.
Take care my friend~
hugs n prayers,
Sue M
