Eggshells and Leather Belts

Topic: oops

Surprisingly, there still remains something more to be learned
from things an imagination convinced itself it had mastered
short of the abilities, necessary, required, to penetrate a cloak of disaster
with hopes of together, a dominate display of colorful feathers, all is well again

important contributions have been made in the names of the anonymous
philanthropist donating poker-chips to the slaves of the heartless and homeless
opponents of condoning wrongful components of practical lessons in logic
assuming its magic, how does the white rabbit burn the black hat, and call it tragic
suppose the all of everything is as once previously imagined
relaxed and composed, disposed of stress, and void of any passion
enlightened are the ignorant as the figment of imagination tightens
frightened and fidgety the movements of bodies collide in abstraction

attracted by magnetic pulses sent from the core of curses
into the veins and exhaled
nailed, to the wall, the frame outlines a portrait
of the future and its most inopportune culprit
to ruin all that has taken shape and spoken from a pulpit
over a period of insurmountable time, makes, grief
a relief is in need to house the hungry and feed the naked
while a clot scars what breeds then bleeds into the scared and sacred
a plot of cemetery trees, a soft cot to sleep,
stop, as the breeze softly sends a shiver through the knees,
keep it in pieces, while others to try and read, and speak,
and dream of release, until it is taken,
shaken to perfection
indeed.

I don't quite get the title, well I think I maybe do, at least a bit, but not so sure! lol The poem itself is brilliant in the sense that it's almost completely subjective to the reader. It reads as though it poured out in a very introspective time, and it begs reflection and pause. I love this line:

enlightened are the ignorant as the figment of imagination tightens...

Great work jyss!!
