shards of glass surround her broken heart, lay there flat on the ground
thrown with intensity only slightly greater than the fire it burned with
rough was it's outside with a core of such fragility an infant could rupture it
Yet there he stood with but a grin upon his muderous face
He had ripped her limb from limb, left her lying cold and naked
Without a word of comfort in her time of need
She felt her insides empty out, and then... nothing
All went dark, and faded away as she slipped into peace
as her blood, red with love, seeped through the cracks in the floor
Finally he would know how much she loved him
Finally he would see how immensly she cared
For she left him the only thing she had left
A broken heart, surrounded in shards
She hoped he would feel as guilty
As she felt woebegone
