Forcibly Upon You

Contributed by jyssvw22 on Friday, 20th October 2006 @ 07:26:16 AM in AEST
Topic: oops

Far gone from where I ought to be
Far more complicated then just you and me
Intelligent in its intricacies
Unwoven are the prophesies
Returned broken in one whole piece

Far from the beginning the end awaits
Far from disappearing is the light of day
Depicting a likeness to your face
Predicting the lightning that struck
Then next second
A rhetorical question
Are you real-
Or have you vanished with my luck and sense of taste

Almost completed the machines seem conceded
As if cognition were innate
And remissions were a certainty of fate
Far from the cure the disease propagates
Far from the shores the heavenly stars illuminate
Far from the visible scar the memory radiates
Far from where we now are
We sit and meditate
Lifted to new heights
The proverbial elevate

Where reason stands far ahead
Ready to believe then die instead
Logical verbal reactions
Rational physical attraction
Show me some damn compassion
Far from beauty is a Godly endeavor
Far from truly is a love forever
Far from now is always never
Far from idiocy is manipulation laid ever so clever
This is good-
However, I require something better

..your words, rather convoluted for that, which I'm sure,
we've BOTH felt and experienced beyond many a lovely affair,
have staid their weath my friend..
and have as always, captured something in me,
never felt till now..lest an albeit: woeful rendition of life and love~

Your work is brilliant jyss..
and your word-play, even moreso-

Your #1 fan..

Billy

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
