silver ounces weighing down my eyelids
your pseudo-martyrism doesn't appeal
the vacancy of your speech does not reveal
it is becoming increasingly more insipid
this tired drone cannot decieve
you've sprung a leak and you're losing oil
cut your losses and start to grieve
this pressure makes you burn and broil
put on all your face paint and start again
try to convince yourself you aren't so plain
this future is not the golden age
i am not your golden sage
read not from the golden page
for the golden is as ancient dust
a mercurial thought swims a labrynthine curcuit
numbing your brief waking hours
you're all dolled up, you're polished with spit
dream of sunshine, dream of showers
you smell like roses but look like *****
lie on train tracks, pick pretty flowers
acquit the accused with judicial wit
try to pick the lock of your ivory tower

ONLY that one can tell...........
Deep, with hurt, and yet......Not
Trying to make one or who see, can not always be the right path. This write gives the reader a lull to become out.......Thanks for sharing,,,,,Hope it works the way it should. maybe they should look deeper.....

Passages of thought, circles going on......
Yes, I relate to this deeply. It is hard to sit and watch the destruction of one we care for. Reality is they can only help themselves then we can help pick up the pieces once its begun.
