What's So Different

Contributed by undead_poet14 on Sunday, 16th February 2003 @ 02:00:00 AM in AEST
Topic: SongLyrics

We're both human, so please explain to me...
Whats so different between the two of us?
Sure she dresses different than I do and wears her hair other ways
But besides that, we're both girls
So what's so different?

Guys always go for her because of how she acts
She offers herself and you take the bait
I thought you were smarter than that
How did you fall for her wicked alluring charm?

I'm not like that at all
Sure, I may act crazy sometimes
But that's who I am
I may not do all the stuff she does and wear everything she can
But I'm my own person, so what wrong with that?

I tell you I love you, but you just back away
Don't you realize my love is true?
Not like that one girl's obsessive worship,
Or that other girl's "flavor of the week" mannerism
But the true understanding you only get from real affection that I have for you now
But I love you too much to make you unhappy
But why ruin yur heart with the faithless love that she gives?

No matter how many times I try to forget,
You still enter my mind,
Teasing me with that trusting face
But you treat me like a toy, like she does to you
But unlike her, I'll always be there
For a shoulder to cry on, or just an ear to listen

So if you're so sure you want her
And you say she's so different from everybody else
Just tell me on thing
What's so different?
