Once a Rhyme

LoveRemembered

I once thought a rhyme would solve my quest
I worked hard and did my very best
I put words together that had true mean
I wrote them for you who I thought as my queen
Till this day I feel the pain
You read my words and I was slain
Not a nerve in your heart they did touch
To you their value not very much
I plundered on still hope in my heart
With a thought I would get to the start
So many times so close I came
But everything just remained the same
Then at last I got you out
My mind now free to roam about
Entrenched though your stain will remain
There it stays so my resolve won`t wane

this speaks the the truth. some just don't care who they hurt or how.it's being able to get back out there and try again that counts. your poem seems to show that you did. good luck. |
