Happy Halloween

Contributed by deadheadpoet on Wednesday, 18th October 2006 @ 12:31:29 AM in AEST
Topic: Holiday Poetry

I'll cast a wicked spell
on you
turn you into a toad
simple flick of this
little wand
you'll be hopping
down the road

Brewing magic
in my cauldron
Just a tiny potion, you see
slip you just a wee nip
when I get the notion

Hee Hee

Yes, dearie have a sip
Gonna take a little trip
Feeling a sort of funny?
Well now, don't worry, honey

You won't feel a thing...well
maybe a little zing
might cause the ears to ring
You say you feel a sting?

Oops

Well, you've heard the saying
no pain....no gain.

Happy Halloween

Penned 2005
Laura Horner

  • Aww wow, heh, this is adorable.

I love how playful and upbeat is, definitely a great start to my day.

Thanks for reminding me that Halloween is.. here, or soon or whichever.
You know, I actually have no idea when Halloween is.
Probably because Australians hardly celebrate it. Yikes.

    Kat.
(off to research when Halloween actually is ;p)

First thank you for your kind words. This is my second post first night on this site. I enjoiyed this piece being Halloween Born I declare it as a song perhaps an anthem to be sung after a night of intoxicating weird beers, chocolate euphoria and a sugar buzz. it should be sung by mask wearing mobs.
I will continue to read your work and look forward to your comments on my future posts.
