I stood amidst the mountains
They stood great and tall
I looked at their majestic beauty
And sighed for myself
Their greatness made me look
Inside what I call myself
I looked straight and true to find
The reason to live
I looked at those mountains
And sighed a great sigh
The mountains stood firm
Whilst I crumbled beneath their feet
My life was like a bumpy road
It twisted and turned
those mountains made me think
About me and my past
Those mountains, finally,
made me realize my reason to live
I would not to live for me
No, not for me
I would live for all others
I would live to love
I will stand proud of who I am
To conquer my mountains in the end

Grand, imposing and timeless, it's easy to understand how a mountain can take your breath away. I particularly liked the last two lines of the third stanza. They give a real sense of meekness.
Good write
