I tried to give you my heart,
All that I could manage to give,
Evidently that wasn’t enough,
To make you keep me around.
I know it wasn’t that long,
A time so short,
No one could realize,
What just happened...
I tried as hard as I could
To make you stay,
But I guess I’m not enough for you
I’m good for no one.
I sit here wondering,
Who will be my prince?
Then I start to think,
I will never have him...
The thought passes through my mind,
That I will never be satisfied,
I will be alone forever,
With no one to comfort me anymore...
I’m sorry for whatever I did,
I wish I could fix it,
But yet again,
I’m denied my second chance.
This is goodbye,
I wish it wasn’t,
But is it,
Goodbye my friend...

| this poem reminded me of when I told my friend that I loved that we aren't friends anymore. It was hard for me to do because I seriously love him...love. But I felt that he didn't even want to be friends. It is hard. I love this poem. |

Very nice poem, I too have been there, many a time in my life. Its hard having that feeling inside, believing that there is no one out there for you. But, you have to keep your head up, you need to keep going. You will find peace one day.
