Bruises and cuts, bleeding and scrapes.
Scar tissue formations, all over the place.
But where is the healing, where I need it most?
To take away all those demons and ghosts.
I don't know when I lost the faith.
Looking in a mirror I don't feel safe.
A burning effigy of a little boy.
This candy won't take away the void.
Invertebrates are toxic to most.
Parasites who don't want a host.
Phantom pains are here again.
How I miss that good old friend.
...and so the fly returns to the wall.
