Decisions In Life
~
Decisions in life aren’t always ours to make,
It’s a delicate balance of give and take.
Our days are numbered and there’s little we can do,
To prolong our stay when our time is through.
~
Life is not fair when loved ones die young,
When a father out lives the life of his son.
When you work all your life to retire with grace,
And shortly thereafter your health is erased.
~
I sit and I wonder what my life has in store,
My questions are much like a revolving door.
When the power of change isn’t always at hand,
I find my self wondering just where do I stand.
~
But all I can do is live each day like my last,
And hope that this anxiety will quickly pass.
Decisions in life aren’t always ours to make,
It’s a delicate balance of give and take.

Ours is not reason why,
How we live, when we die,
For when our lifes work is through,
We will return again as fresh and new,
