LostLove

Who ever said that time will heal,
Just doesn’t know just what I feel,
As I know that I should not cry,
Deep down inside I just want to die.
Said that she was still in love with me,
But the time had come to set me free,
Through my mind I ask what had gone wrong,
Every moment, every touch, every song.
Loneliness is one person on their own,
And that one is me as I roam,
The world travels around my head,
But I am absent from all that is said.
Places that we went are now out of bounds,
Memories instant from sights and sounds,
But now I must walk talk, walk smart,
And hope that one day another wants my heart.

Pain of a love lost is well expressed here, time does heal, but how long does one wait until the hurt has subsided? |
