A shoulder to lean on!

Topic: FriendshipPoetry

Dear friend of mine
Your frown is long
Maybe this time
You can turn out strong

Your tears of pain
You feel so low
Your heart may ache
It clearly shows

Look up at me
My beloved friend
As if to see
A helping hand

I have been there
I have felt the pain you feel
And I've felt the care
The care of wanting to heal

It's not easy to let go
It doesn't seem fair
But you will come to know
You'll always have someone there

My shoulder is here
And strong for you
So shed your tears
Until your through

You once were there
When I needed to lean
You gave me your Spare
And now i do the same

My friend you don't need to frown
When you think it's over
You may think no ones around
And then you'll feel my shoulder

So look up theres someone here
To get you through the rain
Let out all the fear
Until you feel no more pain

I have no place to be
Just here beside you
Like you were for me
I can be strong too.

So wipe away that last tear
And Shine that smile of yours
Because what comes with new fears
A world of open doors.

Dude , I think we could all
use a few friends like you.
I'm sure your kindness will
be repaid. Truly , Doug
