A dream come true
for me for you
an apocalyptic summer in the stars
and somewhere far away
so far away
they'll call our names in muted symphony
our game of hide and seek will meet a stand still
a drug induced pause
as we shake with terror
far away
so far away
you won't hear the screams
of an apocalyptic summer in the stars
though we are freezing to death
in foreign arms
they're calling you now
to take the dive for vanity
we know you'll move for the poison
if not for the sake of your own sanity
I know i'll be left here for I can take it all
for in matters of ego
i'm always left appalled
